Madeleines

Prep time: 5 minutes - Cooking time: 5 minutes - 4 servings

Phase: Attack

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon wheat bran
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran, such as Dukan Diet Organic Oat Bran
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk powder
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon lemon extract 
  • 20 drops butter flavoring (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Splenda or stevia to taste

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Put the oat bran and wheat bran through a blender and then keep to one side
  3. Put the oat bran and wheat bran through a blender and then keep to one side
  4. Next blend the eggs, lemon extract, butter extract and sweetener for one minute
  5. Now add the skim milk powder, oat and wheat brans and baking powder and blend for one more minute. If possible use a silicon mold and use one tablespoon of the mixture for each Madeleine
  6. Turn the oven down to 285°F and bake the Madeleines for 5 minutes in the middle of the oven. Keep a careful eye on them as they cook very quickly!
